Royal Caribbean Asia has announced the use of new VR app, called HoliDeck, to provide people an unprecedented cruise experience even if they are not on a board. Royal Caribbean Cruises is an American worldwide voyage firm located in Miami. The Caribbean is the second leading voyage-line operator in the world, after the Carnival Corp.

Through the HoliDeck, people will virtually experience a real cruise of Royal Caribbean, being virtually transported into the company’s international ship. Within the app, guests will be offered a huge number of unique experiences, including Skydiving, Main Dining Room, the entertainment space Two 70, etc, and all these will come with world-class visual effects.

Besides all the experiences, Royal Caribbean also provides VR Cardboard eyewears to its Singapore-based agents and worldwide representative. The cardboards can showcase a number of VR tools, like ice shows, Royal Caribbean’s SeaPlex, Royal Promenade and Loft Suite. People will be also enabled to check out in depth a huge number of onboard accommodations in VR and make a choice among various creative games and videos.

The Royal Caribbean Asia’s “HoliDeck” is scheduled to be demoed during the NATAS Holiday on 11-13 of August 2017, which will take place at Caribbean’s booth. NATAS organizes the largest travel fairs of Singapore twice a year, inviting more than 100,000 travel agents, airlines, tourist organizations, etc. The event exhibits latest products and trends from all over the world.
